Hakuba resort is spread out across a flat valley of rice fields shadowed upon by the great Alpine peaks known as the Japanese Alps. The beauty about this resort is that it caters for ALL levels. With a total of 13 ski resorts, 137 lifts, 7 terrain parks, night skiing and endless hiking opportunities, you are spoilt for choice.
You will certainly not be the only “gaijin” (foreign alien) in this area. Hakuba is becoming one of Japan’s top international ski resorts, favoured by the thrill seeking Australian and New Zealanders. They have since found their niche and set up shop during the Winter months offering ski/board lessons, hotel accommodations, and ski rental/wear services.
The other beauty about going to Hakuba is it is easy to access and if someone in your group does not take to the slops too well, they can go off and do some really interesting sightseeing. There are plenty of day trip options available for non skiers – those that even the skiers should take in on at least one day. For example the Snow monkeys located approx. 1 hour from Hakuba by train/car.

- You cannot make reservations for the bus from Nagano Station. Please check your bus schedule and pick the bus most convenient for your schedule.
- Due to the train and bus schedule, it is possible that you may have to wait up to 1 hour for a bus or train at Nagano Station
- We will send your itinerary to your hotel of stay at least one day prior to your departure. Please inform us of your hotel of stay the night prior to your departure and contact information when you make your reservation.
- Please inform of us of any changes to your address at least 8 days prior to departure.

Regarding the Usage of Lift Tickets Provided with the Hakuba Ski Tour.
- One lift ticket is valid for one day of skiing at one of the following ski resorts: Happo-one, Iwatake, Tsugaike, Hakuba 47, Hakuba Goryu Hakuba Norikura, Hakuba Sanosaka, Minekata, or Hakuba Cortina. (Those who ski at Hakuba Sanosaka, Minekata, Hakuba Norikura, or Hakuba Cortina will receive \1000 in dining coupons.)
- Lift tickets are not valid for night skiing..
- One lift ticket is valid for one resort only. You cannot use the same lift ticket for 2 resorts in the same day.
- We cannot give refunds for lift tickets after usage.
