Ski during the day and be back in Tokyo for the night on this one day ski package to GALA Yuzawa.
Niigata Prefecture's GALA Ski Resort is easily accessible from Tokyo via the JR bullet train line. The 2011 season marks the 20th anniversary of this popular ski resort. This package is perfect for those who want to ski but have limited time in Japan!

Departure	Monday, December 20, 2010 - Wednesday, March 31, 2011 (Excluding December 29, 2010 - January 4, 2011)

Pick-up / Drop off	No pick-up & drop-off service is included.
Guide	No guide or assistant service is included.
Baggage	No baggage service is included.
Schedule	6:20 a.m. - 9:20 a.m. Tokyo Station (Joetsu Shinkansen Max Tanigawa or Tanigawa) 8:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. Gala Yuzawa Station. After arrival, check in at the check-in counter located next to the station. You will be given a 1-day lift ticket and a coupon for 20% off of ski rentals. GALA Yuzawa Ski slope. Enjoy skiing at Echigo Yuzawa Snow Resort. 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Gala Yuzawa Station (Joetsu Shinkansen Max Tanigawa or Tanigawa) 6:00 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. The tour disbands on arrival at Tokyo Station.

Please inform of us of the name, address, and phone number of your place of stay in Japan. We will send your train tickets, lift voucher, and itinerary to this address no later than 1 day prior to your departure.
No baggage transportation service is available.
You will be required to pay for additional costs such as ski rentals and personal expenses at the ski resort on your own. (The gondola from GALA Yuzawa Station and Grende will cease operation if there are winds of over 20m/hr. If this occurs, we will direct you to another ski resort in the Echigo-Yuzawa area. You may use your lift pass at this other resort.)
This tour will cancelled if the resort is closed due to lack of snow. Your travel agent will contact you in the event of a tour cancellation.
We will not operate this tour if ski resort is closed due to lack of snow. The tour will operate, however, if even part of the resort is open for skiing. If you choose to cancel the tour as a result of snow conditions, you will be subject to our normal cancellation charges.
The lifts and gondolas at the ski resort may close or run on an altered operating schedules due to lack of snow or other weather related reasons. We cannot issue refunds if you are unable to use these facilities due to the weather.
We highly recommend you check the snow conditions at the GALA Resort before your departure on this tour.
