Tour Highlights

Lake Chuzenji Nikko_1.jpg

Lake Chuzenji

  • Nikko Toshogu Shrine- It was built to honor Tokugawa Ieyasu (1542-1616) and a selection of vividly colored and elaborate wood carvings as well as large amounts of gold leaf was used to decorate the buildings.
  • Lake Chuzenji - It is one of the most famous lakes in Japan and was created after an area was dammed by Mt. Nantai in ancient times - an event that created a perfect fishing, cruising and camping zone.
  • Kegon Waterfall - The water cascading over these 97 m. falls originates in the hills above Lake Chuzenji - above the cliff as the falls are viewed from the observation platform.

Your bus will drop you back to Tokyo at Shinjuku or Ginza area. Your English speaking assistant will help you find your hotel from where the bus leaves you.
