Tour Highlights

• Enjoy an authentic tea ceremony lit by the candles Benitei tearoom before delighting upon a Japanese-style dinner. Afterwards, Gion Corner, where you can see a show showcasing Japanese performing arts throughout the ages.
• Gion Corner - A more accessible experience is the cultural show held everyday at Gion Corner at the end of Hanami-koji. Aimed at f­oreign tourists, the show is a highly concentrated introduction to several traditional Japanese arts and include short performances of a tea ceremony, ikebana, bunraku, Kyogen comic plays and dances performed by real maiko. If you are in Kyoto in April, check out the Miyako Odori with daily dance performances by maiko.­

• On receipt of payment, we issue you with a travel voucher which includes your booking confirmation code and all necessary details for you to exchange in Japan, at the main terminal where each tour starts from. Don't forget to bring this with you on the morning of the tour. Without it we cannot guarantee your place on the bus.
