• Pick Up: A pick up service is available at selected hotels in Tokyo - click here for more details. Alternatively, you can make your own way to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. This tour will depart Hamamatsu Bus Terminal at 1.40pm. You should be at the bus terminal 20 minutes prior to departure for check in. Tour Highlights

• The Ghibli Museum - The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, in the western suburbs of Tokyo, transports you into the world of animated film maker Hayao Miyazaki. Rooms on several floors evoke the strange buildings which often appear in his films, and many other themes and ideas from the movies. There are hands-on and play activities for the under-12s, a café and patio, and an original short animation shown in the basement cinema. It's a great day out for those with young families, or animation enthusiasts of all ages!

• Pick-up service from major Tokyo hotels to Hamamatsucho bus station
• Coach transfer from Hamamatsucho Bus Station (dep. 1.40pm) to Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, and return to central Tokyo (tour ends at Tokyo station around 7pm)

1. Public transportation is used for round- trip transfer to the museum in Mitaka, a suburb of Tokyo.

2. This is a walking tour. We recommend you prepare casual clothes and comfortable shoes.

4. Baby buggies are not allowed to enter.

5. Fees for children (four- and five-year-old) will be charged at the spot.
